This project was to build on the research on the Yau Ma Tei Wholesale Fruit Market and touch on the controversy surrounding the market. The Secret Garden is to adapt branding and customer profiling into design to impact the atmosphere and outlook of the market.

The Secret Garden proposes a new business and space to be planted into existing and abandoned market plot. The timing of this projects follows the unfortunate fire due to which parts of the market were lost and will be rebuilt.  This serves as a great opportunity to translate the essence of this old tradition into modern context.
